MINISTER IVANOV: MLSP LAUNCHES A SELF-CERTIFICATION MODULE FOR DIGITAL COMPETENCE
"The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) has launched a self-certification module for digital competence. Every citizen will be able to test their knowledge free of charge and receive a certificate that they have basic and/or intermediate digital skills acquired in the flow of work or through independent learning." This was said by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivaylo Ivanov at the presentation of the module at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
"Many of the knowledge and skills today are acquired in the flow of work or through independent learning, but until now people had no opportunity to prove that. The module for self-validation is a chance for people to find better realization in the labor market, and for employers to find the workers and employees who will fit best for their activities," assured Minister Ivanov. He noted that along with the trainings for employed and unemployed people that have been launched so far, this is another opportunity that the MLSP team provides to occupied and unoccupied people to improve their suitability on the labor market in accordance with the expectations of the business.
Minister Ivanov emphasized that with the implementation of the project, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy fulfills its commitment to prepare the workforce for the challenges of the modern digital world of work. He called on people to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the MLSP to improve their competencies and receive a certificate that will help them in their professional development.
