20 years CHRDRI
20 years of development and innovation were celebrated by the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives (CHRDRI) on 24.06.2024.
The event was attended by a number of guests, including government representatives, directors and friends of the Center. The host of the event was a well-known journalist - Dragomir Simeonov, who gave a welcome speech and shared the story of CHRDRI.
In her speech, Ms Polina Marinova, Director of CHRDRI, expressed her gratitude to everyone for their presence and support, and added that it was an honor for her to host this event.
It is the Center’s 20th anniversary - a time to think over and turn towards the new horizons. In 2004, our story began with Decree No. 135 of the Council of Ministers. Since then, CHRDRI has become a modern institution for the development of the capacity of the administration with a social focus. We have worked for many years with the International Training Center of the ILO in Turin. This partnership resulted in acquiring new international practices and standards. In 2018, the project Integrated Trainings for the Administration of the Labor Market and in the Social Sphere under OP Human Resources Development was launched. At present, the employees of the state administration trained in the CHRDRI are over 20 thousand. At the beginning of 2024, our structure expanded with five new Regional Directorates. This allows us to expand our portfolio of professional qualification trainings. The Centre is also a Single Certification Centre for the Assessment of Digital Knowledge and Skills. Since the beginning of 2024, more than 14,000 persons have been certified. In the eve of our 20th anniversary, we are proud for the thousands of trained people and supported policies, we feel glad for the implemented projects, we are grateful to our partners and friends, we thank our employees.
‘With this team, we are ready to face the future challenges,’ said Ms Marinova. Mr. Ivaylo Ivanov, Minister of Labor and Social Policy wished a lot of success and a fair winds to CHRDRI and congratulated the Center for expanding its structure with the regional directorates in Pleven, Pazardzhik, Smolyan and Stara Zagora. A greeting speech was also delivered by Mr. Lazar Lazarov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy. With a smile and in good mood he wished to the entire team of CHRDRI to be united and determined.
Special plaques as a sign of gratitude were awarded to the former directors of CHRDRI, who contributed to the current appearance of the Center with a lot of hard work and dedication. All employees wished to continue their mission in support of the development of human resources and social policy in Bulgaria, while expanding the scope of the Center and introducing new methods for training and certification.
An official dinner was given in the end.
