At CHRDRI RD - Stara Zagora begins a vocational training for the third level of professional qualification - Teacher’s aide

On 26.06.2024, CHRDRI RD - Stara Zagora starts training for the third degree of professional qualification in the profession Teacher’s aide, specialty Teacher's aide in children's raising and up-bringing. Trainees will have the opportunity to acquire a third degree of professional qualification in this sought-after and attractive profession.

General professional training includes topics on health and safety at work, economics and entrepreneurship. In the sectoral training, students will acquire knowledge about the organization of the work process, professional communication and professional terminology in a foreign language, professional ethics and development, as well as the basics of social work in child care. In the specific training, the trainees will acquire knowledge and skills about hygiene and nutrition of the child, ensuring the safety of the child, the basics of education, games and activities with children, how to provide first aid and care for a sick child, as well as to take basic care of children with disabilities and chronic diseases.  The training will last 120 days or 960 academic hours.

The course is part of the National Employment Action Plan and is intended for unemployed persons registered in the labor offices.  The training ends with state exams in the theory and practice of the profession. The persons who have acquired this professional qualification will be able to become teacher’s aide in kindergartens and nurseries. The training is in accordance with the state educational standard for acquiring a degree in the profession of Teacher’s aide. CHRDRI has qualified lecturers and fully equipped classrooms for the theoretical and practical training in this profession.
