PLEVEN REGIONAL DIRECTORATE OF THE CENTER FOR HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND REGIONAL INITIATIVES LAUNCHES A NEW COURSE IN THE SPECIALTY WORD PROCESSING

From 10.06.2024, the Pleven Regional Directorate of the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives launches a new course in the specialty Word Processing. It is attended by 13 participants who will have the opportunity to acquire a first degree of professional qualification in this field, which needs constant updating.

The program starts with the study of occupational health and safety at work for the profession, economics and entrepreneurship. In the sectoral professional training, students master skills in the field of communication, foreign language and principles of working with information technologies and operating systems. In the specific professional training, the focus of the program is aimed at taking care of the computer functioning, working on the Internet, using and applying software products - word processing - MS Word, working with spreadsheets in MS Excel and programs for preparing presentations - MS Power Point. The training will last 40 days and includes 300 teaching hours.

The course is part of the National Employment Action Plan and is intended for unemployed persons registered with the labor offices. Successful graduates will be able to cope with office and administrative procedures and documents, to perform administrative activities related to the processing of information and communications through the application of computer equipment and technologies.

The course ends with passing a state exam in theory and practice of the profession, after which the participants receive a Certificate of Professional Qualification, in accordance with the regulatory requirements.

The training is in accordance with the state educational standard for acquiring a degree in the profession of Computer Operator, specialty Word Processing. CHRDRI has qualified teachers and fully equipped classrooms for theoretical and practical training.
