Two information seminars on Prevention and Management of Conflict of Interest and Corruption in the State Administration were organized online this week.
They were held in the Distance Learning Platform of the Center for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives. The trainings were attended by directors of the Labor Office Directorates from all over the country, as well as employees in managerial and expert positions from the general and specialized administration of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and its structures.
The lecturers Lyubomir Krumov – Head of Inspectorate at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Veneta Velkova and Boryana Staykova – state inspectors at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy gave insight on themes related to the prevention and management of conflict of interest and counteracting corruption in the state administration.
The training was held in three sessions, in which the lecturers provided explanations on the objectives, principles, scope, prevention and counteraction of corruption, administrative penal liability, pursuant to the Anti-Corruption Act. The obligation for submitting declarations under Art. 49, para. 1 of the Anti-Corruption Act, deadlines, public register, verification of declarations, mistakes and frequently asked questions and practical examples.
The aim of the seminars is to further update knowledge about the topics discussed. The two trainings were held upon the request of the Employment Agency and in accordance with the Operational Training Plan of the Administration.
