A VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION IN THE PROFESSION HAIRDRESSER, SPECIALTY HAIRDRESSING

A vocational training for professional qualification in the profession of a Hairdresser, specialty Hairdressing starts on 14.06.2024 at the Regional Directorate Pleven of the Center for Human Resources Development and Regional Initiatives. It will last for 85 days and will include a total of 660 academic hours, of which 248 for theoretical training and 412 for practical training.

The training program is well-structured and covers various aspects of the profession. In the general vocational training, participants will get acquainted with health and safety at work, the basics of economics and entrepreneurship. The sectoral professional training will be focused on work organization, workplace preparation and technology of work in a hairdressing studio. Other topics included in the curriculum are: tools and apparatuses related to the professional activity of the hairdresser and the provision of various types of services such as day and evening hairstyles, hair color theory and hair dyeing, lengthening and thickening, complete and partial hair texturing.

The specific professional training will be focused on new techniques and technologies in hairdressing and the organization of work in a beauty studio.

This course is part of the National Employment Action Plan and is intended for unemployed persons registered in the labor offices. Graduates of this training may be employed as hairdressers in salons and beauty studios.
